Norton Sound Seafood Products and the resident fishermen who deliver to us do everything in our power to ensure that our seafood maintains its exceptional quality from the moment its lifted from the water until the instant it arrives at your door.  Our specialty packaging combined with experienced supply chain partners allows Norton Sound Seafood Products to deliver our seafood all over the nation without compromising quality.

But we can’t do it alone!  Our customers play an important role in making sure the last leg of our seafood’s journey goes as smoothly as possible.  Please review Norton Sound Seafood Products’ shipping fees, terms and suggestions to make sure your order arrives as quickly as possible.

Free and flat-rate shipping!

Norton Sound Seafood Products offers FREE SHIPPING for orders valued at more than $279.99. For orders between $1 and $279.99, Norton Sound Seafood Products charges a flat-rate shipping fee of $55 for orders that can be delivered by FedEx Overnight Service.  The rate is $70 for areas that are only served by FedEx Priority Overnight Service.  

To celebrate the opening of our retail site, Norton Sound Seafood Products is waiving our packaging and handling fees for the time being.  This gives our customers an additional $25 in savings per order!

Credit & return policy

Norton Sound Seafood Products is dedicated to providing the highest level of product quality and service.  If you are not satisfied with your order, please call (855) 443-2304 or e-mail us at sales@nortonsoundseafood.com.  We will promptly contact you to resolve the problem.  You may receive a full refund or a credit good for an equal value of NSSP products.  We value our customers!

Where and when we ship

To ensure prompt delivery, orders are shipped on Mondays—Wednesdays.  All orders are shipped on the nearest shipping day after being received.  As soon as your order is shipped, you will be notified by e-mail with your tracking number, if you provided an email address during the checkout process.

At this time, Norton Sound Seafood Products only ships within the United States.  We cannot ship to a PO box; your seafood needs to be delivered to a physical address, whether it is your home or business.

All orders are shipped via FedEx Overnight Service.  You can track your shipment online at www.fedex.com.  For delivery areas only serviced by FedEx Priority Overnight Service, an additional $15 fee will apply.

Check and re-check your address!

We ship to the exact address you enter at checkout.  Please take a moment to ensure that the address is correct before finalizing your order.  

If you entered a wrong shipping address and your package has shipped, we are happy to contact our shipping contractor, PeriShip, and do our best to reroute your package.  Please note, however, that we cannot assume responsibility for any incorrect addresses provided to us.  In the event that the package can be rerouted in transit, delivery, return and re-delivery charges may apply.  We also cannot assume responsibility for time-in-transit damage due to address errors.

Make sure someone will be available to receive your seafood!

A surprise gift can be great...but with seafood, the surprise only works if you are absolutely certain the recipient can receive the shipment at the time of delivery.  If there is a remote chance that the recipient will not be home, he or she must be notified of the gift arrival to avoid spoilage.

Orders sent to multi-unit dwellings, such as apartment buildings, may not be released unless someone is home to accept them.  Please consider shipping to your work address where you can refrigerate your seafood upon arrival.

Norton Sound Seafood Products will not be responsible for spoilage due to deliveries to unattended addresses or shipments that are received but unopened (all packages are clearly marked “perishable”).  Please make certain someone will be available to receive and properly care for your seafood shipment!

Norton Sound Seafood Products is committed to sustainability—our fisheries, residents and business all depend on it!  Help us cut down on waste and materials by shipping back the packaging in which your order was sent.  We will credit $20 to your account toward a future order upon receipt of your clean styrofoam container packed in its cardboard sleeve!

Your order should contain an informational sheet and address label that you can use to return your clean, empty and dry styrofoam container placed in its cardboard sleeve.  Please note that customers are responsible for return postage.  We recommend using USPS parcel post service for the most affordable rate.
